Before anything else gets built, the site has to be sound. Crawlability, internal link architecture, site speed, structured data, Core Web Vitals — I audit against what the current algorithm rewards and what the next one is likely to reward. A well-linked, well-structured site amplifies everything else you do. A broken one cancels it out.

The most powerful link and mention strategy I’ve found isn’t outreach. It’s conversation. A recorded interview with a subject matter expert produces: a piece of original content no AI can replicate, a natural reason for the guest to mention and link back, third-party citations that LLMs use as trust signals, and keyword intelligence that comes from the way real people actually talk about their problems.
